Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 2025
At PulseCurrentX, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you interact with our services.
We're based in Thailand and comply with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), or PDPA as it's commonly known. But honestly, our approach goes beyond just checking boxes for compliance.
Information We Collect
When you use our liquidity and solvency analysis tools, we need certain information to provide you with accurate financial insights. Here's what we typically gather:
Account Information
Your name, email address, phone number, and company details when you register for our services.
Financial Data
Business financial statements, transaction records, and related documents you upload for analysis.
Usage Data
How you interact with our platform, including features used, time spent, and analysis preferences.
Technical Information
IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies that help us maintain platform security.
We don't collect data we don't need. And we certainly don't sell your information to third parties — that's just not how we operate.
How We Use Your Information
Your data serves specific purposes that directly benefit your experience with our platform:
- Service Delivery: Processing your financial data to generate liquidity and solvency reports
- Platform Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to enhance our tools and add features that actually matter
- Communication: Sending you account updates, analysis results, and occasional product news (you can opt out)
- Security: Detecting and preventing unauthorized access or fraudulent activity
- Compliance: Meeting legal obligations under Thai law and international financial regulations
We run a pretty straightforward operation. Your financial data stays with us and isn't shared unless you explicitly authorize it or we're legally required to do so.
Data Storage and Security
Your information is stored on secure servers located in Thailand and backed up in Singapore. We use industry-standard encryption protocols — both in transit and at rest.
Our security measures include regular penetration testing, multi-factor authentication requirements, and strict access controls. Only authorized personnel who need access to perform their jobs can view your data.
We also conduct quarterly security audits and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 standards. But let's be honest — no system is completely bulletproof. We do everything reasonably possible to protect your data while being transparent about the inherent limitations.
Data Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account remains active. Financial analysis data is retained for seven years to comply with Thai accounting and tax regulations.
If you close your account, we'll delete your personal data within 90 days, though we may retain some records for legal compliance purposes. You can request earlier deletion, and we'll accommodate that wherever legally permissible.
Sharing Your Information
We're selective about who gets access to your data. Here are the limited circumstances where information might be shared:
- Service Providers: Cloud hosting partners and analytics tools that help us run the platform (all bound by strict confidentiality agreements)
- Legal Requirements: Government authorities when required by Thai law or valid legal processes
- Business Transfers: In the unlikely event of a merger or acquisition, though you'd be notified in advance
- With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information with third parties like your accountant or financial advisor
We don't engage in data brokering or advertising networks. Your financial information stays within the scope of services you've signed up for.
Your Rights Under Thai PDPA
- Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information in your account
- Deletion: Request removal of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to certain types of data processing
- Restriction: Limit how we use your information in specific circumstances
- Withdrawal: Revoke consent for data processing at any time
Exercising Your Rights
You can manage most of your data directly through your account settings. For requests that need our assistance, reach out to our privacy team.
We'll respond to most requests within 30 days. Some complex requests might take a bit longer, but we'll keep you updated throughout the process.
There's no charge for reasonable requests. If you're making repetitive or excessive requests, we might apply a small administrative fee — though we've rarely had to do that.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how people use our platform. Most are essential for the service to function properly.
We also use analytics cookies to see which features get used most and where people encounter issues. This helps us focus development efforts where they'll have the most impact.
You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or our cookie preference center. Just know that some functionality might not work as smoothly.
International Data Transfers
While our primary operations are in Thailand, some of our service providers operate globally. When your data crosses borders, we ensure adequate protection through standard contractual clauses and other approved mechanisms.
If you're accessing our services from outside Thailand, please be aware that your data will be processed according to Thai privacy laws, which provide strong protections comparable to European GDPR standards.
Children's Privacy
Our services aren't designed for individuals under 20 years old. We don't knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover we've inadvertently gathered such data, we'll delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email and display a notice on our platform.
The "Effective Date" at the top tells you when the current version took effect. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Third-Party Links
Our platform might contain links to external websites or services. We're not responsible for their privacy practices. When you click through to another site, their policies apply instead of ours.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services you use in connection with our platform.
